White Band Day.... mal anders

Folgendes wieder einmal gefunden beim tollen dpa RZ- Ticker.

Matt Damon bumped from his own movie LOL

During the past few years. Jimmy Kimmel has closed nearly every show with an apology to Matt Damon for bumping him due to time constraints.
Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Matt was bumped from his very own Bourne Ultimatum movie trailer.....
Very funny !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Michael Moore

I just saw Sicko and I loved it. The irony he uses and simply speaking out and making people see, that not everything is as they are being told!
For everyone who hasn't seen Sicko yet..... do it! Entertaining AND shocking!

And I also watched the whole dicussion going on on CNN! He was on two shows... here one clip:

I heard that the Weinstein production company are giving him % of what the movie will make in theaters. This way he can be independent when making his next movie. Great! Even though I am not so keen about the Weinsteins for continuously delaying some of my highly awaited movies.

Mega Movie Marathon Vacation

Because I was forced to stay at home most of the time during my vacation, I decided to spend it with a movie marathon. 18 movies in 14 days.
And of course I rated them. I stared during the most boring movie of them all. LOL
Here they are in order of how good they were.

The really good ones:

Blood Diamond (o.a. for best quote: "I want to be kissed before I get fucked")
Perfume - The Story of a Murderer (o.a. for best on-screen mass gang bang)
Bobby (o.a. for the celebrity cast and the voice over of Kennedy's speech: "Some look for scapegoats, others look for conspiracies, but this much is clear: violence breeds violence, repression brings retaliation, and only a cleansing of our whole society can remove this sickness from our soul.")

The good ones:

The Pursiut of Happyness
Premonition (Sandra Bullock and Julian McMahon are two of my fave actors. And the ending is different.)
The Sentinal (Kiefer rocks! Copy that!)
88 Minutes (The most under appreciated movie of the year, I guess. Even though Al Pacino's in it!)
Derailed (Surprisingly good because of twist in the end.)

The entertaining ones:

Music and Lyrics (Ending unrealistic, but who cares, if it is an ending with Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant kissing)
Next (Nicholas Cage without stupid "wannabe the greatest onscreen hero of all times" attitude)
Because I said so (Nice looking male actors, Loreilei from "Gilmore Girls" and Mandy Moore actually make up for Diane Keaton's over-acting)
A good year ( The "lolita"- song is still stuck in my head!)

The critical ones:

Ocean's 13 (Even Brad, George and Matt can't save it. They just rob a casino, YET AGAIN!)
Borat (Gross, gross, gross... but funny at times)
The Lake House (Even Keanu, Sandra and the other doctor from Nip Tuck can't help the movie to get more interresting)

The truly bad ones:

Underworld 2 (Boom boom, naked sex scenes and.... no, that was all this movie had to offer!)
My Super Ex-Girlfriend (Typical teenie summer movie, but then again with all the sex going on I'm not sure what the audience's age should be. The guy from "The Riches" was funny, though.)
Little Children (Yes, I do know this movie was nominated for Oscars. But I thought it was simply boring! Yes, maybe the acting was good. And you can't compare the intention and message of it to "My Super Ex-Girlfriend", but  with Super Ex I at least didn't desperately try to find something else to do while watching!)

OMG, I killed Wilhelmine

I can't believe it: For 4 fucking days this fly in my room is getting on my nerves. It was flying arround, when I want to sleep. And in the morning it woke me up. I already had given her a name: Wilhelmine. And she so pissed me off. But I was always nice. I don't like killing something. Even if it's a damn annoying fly that drives me crazy.
But today, she really had annoying all over her. Not only, that I slowly started to become totally agressive against her. She also started to challenge me. Like flying directly onto my nose!

So, I did it. I took a heavy envelope, and  went after her. Hit. Wilhelmine's little body fell off the wall onto the floor. I was a little sad, but after one minute she rose from the ashes. Can you belive it? She again flew directly onto my face. Ok, maybe that first hit had made her blind or something, but in this moment I couldn't care less. So this was it, I thought. I hit her again. But she still wasn't dead. So I squeezed an mashed her.
I feel so bad!

Oh my god, I killed Wilhelmine.

But maybe I won't be so annoyed anymore!

Sometimes the movie business is just weird

I just watched the movie "88 minutes" with Al Pacino and Ben McKenzie (you know... the guy from the OC).
And.... it was great! It was the best movie I've seen in a long time.
You haven't heard from it, yet? Well, no wonder. It's not out in Germany or the US. It only came out in Brazil. And there it was released straight on DVD.
I really don't get it! Bad movies like "Spiderman 3" get released at the same time all over the world and make millions of $$$. And then there's a small budget thriller with great actors and all, and it doesn't even get the chance for a wide audience.

Anyway, here is the trailer. If you get the chance to see it.... do so. There's no US release date, yet. In Germany it'll come out on DVD in September.

And because Benjamnin McKenzie is just cute in it, I looked for and found the great interview with him on Conan O'Brian from last year....
pissed off

Paint It Black

Adrenalin in the morning!

I'm on vacation, but the trouble won't stop!
Some of you might remember the trouble I had with the employment office (Argentur für Arbeit) a month ago.
They wanted me to pay 635 Euro. Anyway, back then I talked to a guy from the e-office and we found the mistake. He promised me to send me a form, that I was supposed to send back in signed by my boss. No problem.
NO PROBLEM? Well, this form never reached me. And yesterday I got yet another letter, telling me I have to pay!
I was like what the fuck. So, 30 minutes ago, I called again. This time I had a woman on the fone. I explained everything that had happened to her. And then she answered (I'm not kidding) : "Well, I can't help you with that. You have to pay it!"
Usually my thread of patience is very flexible. But then it tore. They are too stupid to send me a form and I have to pay 635 fucking Euro?
That's what I almost screamed at this woman. Her answer: "Well, the computer system doesn't prove that you talked to someone a month ago, so you have to pay."
Then I did scream: "You WILL send me that form you promised me a month ago. What you are just saying is against the law."
Then she connected me with her boss. And suddenly there wasn't that much of a problem anymore. She said, she'd send me the form. And, oh wonder.... this boss even found my actual address. This other woman insisted on me not having given the employment office my new adress, which I knew is bullshit, because first off one of their letters in january went to my address, and second, I told the guy one month ago my new address!

It's really unbelievable!
Now I hope, they will really send me that form. Then I have to go to my boss during my vacation and let him sign it! Really unbelievable.
Everybody wants my money!!! Last night my roomie came up to me. Eon avacon wants 400 Euro from us, because we apperantly spend too much electricity.
So much for actually making trips to Münster and Berlin during my time off work. There's no money left.

And the adrenalin from half an hour ago won't stop running through my veins.....

TEST

1..2..3...

ok, it works now. Somehow my PC didn't want to let me post here.
But fine. Now it DOES work! (No, it didn't, that's why I, Sandra, have to post something for her....AGAIN)

Anyway.... what's the grossest thing going on in Germany right now? Yes, G8!
Well, my brother lives in Rostock city where all the G8 protests are right now. I was on the phone with him tonight for 10 minutes. And while we talked there were 5 police caravans with sirens passing. And all the time, there was the sound of helicopters! It's like the state of emergency there!

On Saturday, when 100 policemen were injured, they had a demonstration here in my city, too.....  but they were fucking Nazis! Gosh, and nobody knew they were coming. No single authority! And all the police is in Rostock right now. So, the city had to ask for backup from Hamburg and all the surrounding cities! Gah! It's crazy in the north of Germany right now. Honestly.

My brother was on his way to Uni today, when suddenly a few police cars drove towards him. So, he took out his cell phone to shoot a video of the crazyness. Suddenly a few police cars stopped right in front of him, but my brother kept on filming. Then policemen got out and ran right towards him. He was scared they'd take his cell, but just one meter in front of him, the policemen turned and ran into another street. He has all of this on video. I so wanna see that!

Right now, you really should not wear black clothes or hodies in Rostock!
I have a few friends who are up there at the moment. Peaceful protesters, though. Like most of them. Hope, they don't get inbetween! Just crazy what 2000 violent people can cause!

H- the Jack Bauer of Miami

So, since almost all of my TV series have gone into summer break, I've started watching CSI Miami again! And besides the fact that I just finished episode 14 of season 5, and they let Eric die and this really pisses me off.....yes, besides that, I just always have to laugh about Horatio's one liners right before the opening theme. In episode 13 for instance. Detective Frank steps on a landmine. It clicks and I mean, EVERYBODY knows that if that happens, you shouldn't step off that landmine because it'll explode if the pressure is taken off the landmine! So, what does Horatio do? - He takes off his sunglasses (the same sunglasses that he takes off so hero-like for 5 seasons now. Someone should collect money for him to buy new ones!), looks at the police officer and says in this "I am cool"- voice: "Frank! Don't move..."

No, really Horatio? I wouldn't have thought of THAT!!!
Also, funny that his team now calls him "H".

Anyway.... I found those clips on youtube! Hilarious! Some of those are really priceless!
Check out the sunglasses edition!

But this is even better. Saw this episode!

What kind of an end was that???

I just finished my series finale marathon with "24" and "Heroes" and to BOTH I have to say: WHAT THE FUCK???
Peter Petrelli and his brother disappearing in the sky and then you just see an explosion. Sylar getting away through the canalysation? And Hiro in the 16th century and you see the solar eclipse from the "Heroes"-opener? Strange....
And "24"? First the showdown at the oil rig (I had to laugh out loud- great boom boom!) , then Jack going to see Audrey again, still totally wet from jumping into the ocean (yeah sure, and she just happens to be in a house near the ocean...) So, the end is: Jack just stares at the ocean.... that is a lame ending! And of course we KNOW that he's gonna have 2 more shitty "24"-days in the next 2 years!

Now it's all over.... All my series had finales! (Well, except "Lost", but that doesn't really count because it kinda already gets on my nerves for 4 months now)
Gah!
I already started with watching CSI Miami and CSI New York! And I don't even like Horatio and his "I wanna be cool"- sunglasses! Get new ones, H.! Honestly..... you're in the 5th season, I'm sure you can afford them!

OK, end of rant!
Goodnight and Good luck!  LOL

Bart was "El Farto" ....

I'm just watching the season 18 of "The Simpsons". And there are quite a lot of Star wars spoofs in it. But this one was the best I've seen so far! Made me spit out my orange juice....

Explaination for before you watch it: Skinner is allergic to peanuts and Bart knows. So he blackmails Skinner and makes him do stupid stuff all the time. But then Skinner finds out that Bart also is allergic to something....

Long time no see

I know it's been a fucking long time since I wrote something in here. It's just.... there's so much going on and yet nothing really. A lot of work, plenty of fun and quite some craziness.... so, the usual !!!
Oh, no.... I've become a total Hamburg addict! (It's half an hour from where I work and live)
Last month I had a news-workshop there and that's when it started.
I met Felix there. And Sandra came to visit, and because our plans of going to Berlin were screwed up by a certain Canadian pimp (not really by him.... but whatever...)  Sandra and me went to Hamburg as well. Again! That's when Sandra took the above pic of me.
Now I just wanna be there EVERY weekend!

What else? Matze (leading editor- ergo: my boss) will be on vacation for 2 weeks soon, so I will be in charge of the radio station branch in my city.
I haven't decided yet, if I like it or not.

And... something else: if you like "The Simpsons", watch season 18 episode 16! Homer as a papparazzi! And an Arnold Schwarzenegger wannabe with an appron that says: "Heil to the chef"

Sorry that I don't write more. But if I would write more, I'd have to write like forever.... and I'm too tired for that! I'm always tired! I sleep like a baby lately!

Goooooood night!

Weekend !!!!!

I made it.
My 'boss' allowed me to just do an interview instead of a whole report! (would have done that anyway! LOL ) And of course that is much easier.... ergo, I finished earlier than I expected! No working overtime!
And the day wasn't as bad as I had expected, all in all.
Well, there is a column from the newspaper. Usually the guy who writes it comes to the station and reads it for us! Today he couldn't come. So, I had to read it, which was weird because the column was about the new smoking laws and it started with " God bless I stopped smoking, 15 months ago. Before that I used to smoke about 40 ciggarettes a day!" And I had to read it! I could never smoke that many ciggies a day. But I also didn't stop smoking, so I guess we're even LOL

Now I'm at home and I have the whole appartment for myself, because my roomate is in Brasil for 2 weeks with his band! So, I'm listening to loud loud loud music, just opened a bottle of wine...
Ice ice baby! yeahhhhhhhhh.....
